The fun and games are over. Doreen has been dismantled, cut into bits and put into a very large plastic bag. And before the crime squad gets onto me, please read the previous post!
It was inevitable. Doreen was unscrupulous. She was strangling my tomato plants. She has left me a legacy of 14 little Doreens. I'm not really sure what happens next. They are not edible. They don't look appetizing, and they are too small and green to make halloween lamps with. The big question now is whether the tomatoes are also going to be too small and green. Very small, green tomatoes are indigestible if not poisonous. Maybe I should have stuck to geraniums!
