Catching up

I have lots of unfinished aquadoodles. I collected them from all corners last night and really must deal with them - not all of them. Some aren't productive. The suminagashi is at a standstill because I can't make any more until I've worked on some of the ones already in the queue. I'm hoping to get the right inks at some point, then I think the results of the water-dipping will be better. Suminagashi is basically a method of preparing backgrounds. The one under this drawing was done with my "normal" technique: wet watercolour poured on and controlled by brush and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. I finished it with conventional (zentangle style) line drawing. It's a new series I'm going to call "parallel worlds"
