My previous post contains the lamentations of a frustrated doodler. I'm cheerful now. My pessimistic view of the challenge of how to make something out of the cuttings from a really, yes really bad A3 doodle was unjustified - I think. Here's the unshaded version and the way it started out (= pieces stuck on as in collage) - turned to portrait format because that's the way it worked out. I haven't decided about colouring or shading yet. It's changed its name. Since it really is made of bits n pieces, I've taken it out of the patchwork series! It's probably the best lesson in composition that I've taught myself so far.
